Dude how can you have a top ten singles of 2008 without Biffy, Funeral or Take That? You sucking on the cock that is processed "NME indie" rock bollocks. Grow a set and listen to music that pushes you over the edge of the cliff rather than just admiring the view.
Peace and love

You're talking shit and you know you are. 1. Biffy didn't release a single this year capable of making my top ten 2. Funeral's new album was great but for me was a little mediocre compared to previous efforts. Too many fillers. 3. Stop pigeon holding and start listening to the music.
Biffy so did release a single worthy of any top ten list with the massive song moutains and so did Funeral. Take your pick from waterfront dance club and kicking and screaming. You spend too long looking for the next big thing and fail to see whats under your nose
Six of the bands in my fave albums have released 3 or more albums and have been around for over 10 years.
The majority of the singles are from bands/artists that have released their debut albums this year but Bon Iver (Justin Vernon) has been in two other bands which I was fully aware of.
'Mountains' was a contender to make my top ten but it isn't even one of Biffy's best songs by a long mile. It is one of their most chart friendly songs which I actually like about.
Funeral were never going to make my top ten list. Although I love Funeral this is a style of music which, over the past few years I have found myself listening to less and less. Funeral are one of a few bands of this type that I still wish to listen to.
I listen to more music than most people and trust me not much gets past my eardrum!
